Fun's Experiment : Date #1 Take Two!

Second date with starbucks experiment guy #1.

I kept in touch via texts to guy #1 this past week and then invited him to go check out a comedy club with me tuesday night.

He agreed (of course) and I met him at the club downtown. We sat and had a drink prior to the show, and we chatted about work, etc... nothing particularly memorable.

I decided this guy had the potential to be very hot if he got an earring, dressed in tighter clothes, got rid of those god awful coke-bottle glasses, and gelled his hair.

My nickname for him is "Coke Bottle" when talking with my friend Melissa.

haha.

Okay so we chatted and we buy each other drinks as I really do have a problem with people buying me things and then not buying them stuff back.... I dunno...

Now, it must be mentioned he is a Huge Buffalo Sabers fan, and he gave up watching the Sabers game to go see comedy (open mic stand up) with me and although the game was turned on after I arrived just over his head, he did not falter and he never took his eyes or attention off of me.

We went to watch the show and as I did, I noticed one other guy in the place and I wonder if it is the other guy from PoF that I had thought of using the jealousy plot line on... I hope it is the same guy, I didn't speak to him and I only caught him looking once... but as I was with another guy, I think he was thrown off.

But he was cute! I'm going to have to see if it was him!

The show was funny, some jokes came up about topics we had been talking about and made us laugh extra hard...

I laughed really hard about a joke regarding LDR's and phone sex, in that how it isn't fair because a guy can be really into it and a girl can be on the other end reading a magazine... and my date quickly learned something new about me... haha

I learned some stuff about him too in regards to the jokes he laughed at as well haha.

Towards the end of the show one comedian remarked about how girls never want to sleep with comedians, but rather they'll sleep with rockstars... and I couldn't help but think how wrong he was... haha

That same comedian made a joke about sarah palin and autistic babies and I laughed so hard he was like.. Wow! I made a girl laugh! (There really weren't THAT many people there other than those performing)

So the rest of the show was alright. Afterwards my date and I went to use the restrooms, and so my date went into the restroom and as I found the womens room, I saw the comedian who made the autistic baby joke and commented on how it was a good set... he asks if I was the girl who laughed and I said yes. He asks if I'm here with my boyfriend and I say no, I'm here with my friend. But as I had to pee I told him to hold on for a moment and he's like "Sure! I'll wait out here, like a Creeper."

So I use the restroom and he's talking to me again as soon as I exit and I see my date waiting for me up near the bar and I make sure he notices me speaking to this other guy for a few brief moments before telling the comedian, that's my friend up there, and we walk back over to my date and I introduce the two. *I'm thinking DHVing much woot woot*

During the comedy show We'd been kinoing a bit with hands and so while we were talking to the comedian, we were standing neutrally at a triangle so I had the upper hand but I included both of them in conversation and kept playfully touching my date to make him feel a bit more comfortable.

The comedian was very interested in seeing me perform improv as I told him I did improv, and then he gave my date and me his card... ahhaha so I like to think I #closed another guy while out with starbucks #1 guy.

Then my date walked me back to my car, (as it was a few blocks away, I asked if he would be able to find his way back and he assured me he was leaving a trail of breadcrumbs thus giving me the opportunity to give him the nickname Hansel) and when we got to my Beetle... he was trying to give me directions, he started stuttering and I was like "Wait, wait let me fix that" and I kissed him for a few moments then pulled back, held his head between my hands and looked him in the eyes and said "Now. Speak. What are you trying to say?"

"Fu*k it if I remember" and went back for a little bit more kiss.

I then pulled away (we had a joke I'd turn into a pumpkin as I'm always leaving first) and drove home.

He told me to call when I got home, but I forgot as I was hungry and made myself a sammich before remembering about his request... oops!

But then I texted Hansel. haha.

So Fun freaking rocks.

I'm sad he's still short... but hey... at least I have someone to go places with me when I want companionship!
