- Hey, I'm Drew W. I'm twenty two and was born in Bowling Green, KY. I attended Vanderbilt University and received my B.S. in electrical engineering in May 2008. I currently live in Nashville, TN. My hobbies when I'm not working 70 hours a week include going out to socialize with friends, playing music and attending concerts, and having a good dinner party or bash at my place on the weekends.
- How would you describe your ideal partner?
- Although I have been relationships and have occasionally dated some amazing girls with awesome personalities, I have yet to find that woman who really touches and communicates with my inner spirit. I am a very lively, excitable person and I would like to find a partner who can stimulate my intellectual side, above all things. I desire a very deep connection and hope that one day I will find that girl who completely gets me. I would like to find the one who can tell me what's going to come out of my mouth before I say it. ;)
- Favorite places to go out?
- I don't really think the place is as important as the people you are with, but my favorite places are usually the local digs that are unique to every city. In Nashville I believe my favorite stretch of places is on West End Ave by Vanderbilt University. Most of these are trendy, clean, and well populated with fun locals. I love my city and this area is probably the best reflection of its culture.
- What are your social strengths and weaknesses?
- I am a very social person and I love to converse. I could literally talk for hours about all kinds of topics, and I love a stimulating, deep conversation when you can connect with someone more than anything else. However, I would say that due to past relationships and a general anxiety for physical intimacy, it is difficult for me to escalate my social interactions with woman by kino escalation. The attraction is there, the IOIs are flying from both directions, and even though I am no stranger to physical contact, it is hard for me to embrace and accept it, even after I have known a girl for six or seven hours.
- How would you like to improve your social life?
- I have a great social life but I would say there are literally only a handful of people who completely know who I am and what I am about. I don't do well with physical contact because it's a sort of psychological phobia for me, but I would eventually like to break out of it, just like approach anxiety or a bad habit of biting your nails. I would also like to travel to some different cities, particularly out west in California, and make some acquaintances there. ;)

Field Report from 11/1/08
There are a lot of bad things about the night after Halloween. Everyone is really tired and people aren't going out as much. The first few dives I attended at about 9pm were pretty much dead, or they had tight little cliques of people that weren't extending any kind of social demeanor whatsoever. Tough Love For Your Friends
So, I live in a house with roommates, and basically, none of them have any desire whatsoever to go out in to the field because
1) They have girlfriends.
2) They don't think they can find eligible women in the field.
3) They have no desire to expand their social circle.
